Book Description

We feel great pleasure in bringing out book “waves oscillations and wave optics”. We are thankful to professors who have sent their valuable suggestions for the book. Specially, we are obliged to Prof N.A. Tantray and prof M. Amin Malik for their continuous encouragement. This book provides an introduction to oscillations, waves and wave optics and is mainly intended for undergraduate students of physics and engineering. This book aims to provide foundation in oscillations, waves and wave optics, which prepares the students for intensive study of advanced topics in this eld at a later stage. In this book more attention is focused on physical concepts and derivation is made as simple as possible. Though this book is intended primarily for undergraduate students, it is hoped to be useful for those science students who are appearing for competitive examinations.
