Book Description

“It is what you read when you don't have to that determines what you will be when you can't help it” - Oscar Wilde During our Under graduation and post graduation days preparing for Viva-voce was always challenging and uncertain without having an idea about exactly what kind of questions will be asked. Even after thorough reading of the complete chapter, enlisting of probable viva questions is a difficult task for students. Now being a faculty while conducting Practical examinations and taking viva-voce it becomes difficult to remember all possible viva questions to be asked to a student. Hence we thought of preparing a question bank so that the students can have a format to prepare for viva and examiners can use it as a reference book for viva questions. This book has been formatted in such a way that it will be useful for all the undergraduates, postgraduates and the faculty members at the time of practical examinations. Viva questions have been prepared chapter wise for all topics of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. Answers to the question have not been enlisted with an intentional purpose to motivate the students preparing for examinations to read various textbooks and other available references materials. Students are encouraged to read from various available sources for greater understanding of the subject and depth of knowledge. Students and faculties will be compelled to think critically about constantly changing concepts and have to seek out new information with improved understanding to answer the question being posed. We sincerely hope that both students and faculties will be benefited with these questions compilation.
