Not only that, author is the best performance lecturer at Universitas Negeri Padang 2014, best academic leader on research activity and output 2018 and visiting researcher from 2019 – 2020 at Earthquake Engineering and Lifeline Engineering Laboratory, Kyoto University, Japan. He has written some book in his eld such as concrete technology, disaster management, heavy concrete as a shielding from Gamma ray radiation and Seismic Intensity of Padang City After 10 Years Of 7.6 Richter Scale Earthquake, September 30, 2009

Book Description

Several powerful earthquake have struck Padang during recent years, on of the largest of which was an M 7.6 event that occurred on September 30, 2009 and caused more than 1000 casualties. This event also caused liquefaction in several places. Following the event, we conducted a research to reveal the potential level of liquefaction in Padang City based on soil investigation data and to determine the relationship between liquefaction potential and natural frequency in Padang City. The study was conducted by analyzing 54 soil investigation data (CPT and SPT) with earthquake acceleration to obtain the value of the safety factor (SF) of an area. The evaluation was carried out by reviewing the 54 points with microtremor measurements so that the natural frequency of the soil at these points was known. I wrote basic and fundamental knowledge on earthquake engineering, and each progress until the understand for readers who come from difference daily activities from the same eld such engineers, researcher etc. In truth, I could not achieved my written book of succes without strong support from, rst, my parents who all supported me with love, secondly, my wife Dr Suharni who given me support and spirit during writing, my two sons Syu Yanuardi and Ilham Rusnardi have given me playing with them. Finally, thanks to Prof. Junji Kiyono, Prof. Yusuke Ono, M. Darma Agung (my student) who support and helped to analysis the raw data. Finally I would like to say thank you to Universitas Negeri Padang for its support. Thank you all for your unwavering support.
