Book Description
simple buffer solution is used repeatedly in biological experiments. A buffer solution is mainly works to resist the deection of PH (Hydrogen ion concentration) as a result of addition of small amount of an acid or alkali. It is composed of week acid (proton donor) and conjugate base (proton acceptor). Blood in a human body is an example of good buffer solution. The resistance in case of buffer is caused only due to the presence weak acid and conjugate base solution in appreciable amounts at equilibrium. Buffer is mainly used in enzymatic methods of analysis.
