MBBS, MD (Pathology), PhD( Medical Sc) is a meticulous surgical pathologist having over 18 years of experience post specialization in Pathology - excellent diagnostic and reporting skills along with great hand-eye coordination. She is experienced in hospital administration – can manage communication and collaboration between various medical and paramedical departments. Dr. Sarma has served several medical colleges under Govt of Assam. She is also trained in medical education technology and is actively participated in faculty development program. At present she is working as Professor in Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Guwahati, Assam, afliated to Srimanta Sankardev University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, . She has published 30 original scientic paper in both national and international journal. She received Prof Bonty Sharma Deka Memorial Best research publication award for original research paper organized by North East Regional Chapter of Indian association of pathologists & Microbiologists in 2015. She has volunteered to be Secretary of North East Regional Chapter of Indian Association of Pathologists & Microbiologists.
