Dr. Muvvala Sudhakar | Dr. M.Sudhakar is presently working as a Professor and Principal in Malla
Reddy College of pharmacy, Secunderabad, Telangana. He received his
bachelor degree in the year 1986 and masters degree in 1988 from Andhra
University. He completed his Ph.D in faculty of pharmaceutical sciences
from J.N.T.U.H in the year 2004.He has 25 years of experience in the
field of teaching and administration. He is the life member of professional
bodies like IPA, APTI and IPGA. He is the executive member of APTI (AP
branch) and member of board of studies for pharmacy in Osmania
University. He is the author of three books (Pharmaceutical Product
development- Manual, Antitumor activity of Mussaenda Philippica in
colon and breast cancer and Effect of source of pregelatinized starch on its functionality) and has more
than fifty research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. Under his successful
guidance five candidates were awarded Ph.D by JNTUniversity, Hyderabad. At present he is guiding 12
candidates for Ph.D Programs. He is the resource person for video lectures in pharmaceutics." |

Dr.Miss Rahamat Unissa | Dr. RahamatUnissa completed her graduation from Sultan ululoomcollege
of pharmacy, Hyderabad in 2002 and post graduation from JawaharLal
Technological University Hyderabad in 2010. She completed her
doctorate degree in faculty of Pharmaceutical sciences from J.N.T.U.H in
the year 2017.She has teaching experience of 6 years and 5years of
research experience. She is presently working as an associate professor in
Malla Reddy college of pharmacy. She has guided several research
projects at graduation and post graduation level. She has around 35
research papers in peer reviewed nationals and international journals. |
Book Description
Microbiology is the study of living organisms of microscopic dimensions that includes bacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa and viruses. It includes study of morphological, physiological, cultural, biochemical, genetic, ecological characteristics of the microorganisms. It is also concerned with the study of their shape, size, structure, function, arrangement, reproduction, presence of development forms, extra capsular structures etc. It includes the study of their distribution in nature, classification, their relationship with each other and with other living organisms and their effects on human beings, plants and animals, their ability to make physical and chemical changes in our environment, their reactions to physical and chemical agents etc.
