Dr. Venkata Rao. Gummadi | I am working as Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Anurag University,
Hyderabad. I have nished M.E & Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Andhra University,
Visakhapatnam, A.P, India. I worked as a head of the department of Civil Engineering and
chairman board of studies for 8 years at GMRIT and VIIT. I had worked as Principal at Gokul
Institute of information Technology for 1 year. I supervised twelve Master degree Thesis and
30 Under graduate Projects. I was a member of Institute of Engineers (IEI) and An associate
member at Andhra Pradesh Academe of Science (APAS)I organized AICTE Sponsor, a two
weeks Faculty Development program (FDP) on” coastal zone problems and their remedies” in
the year2010. I have completed around 80lakhs of worth of government funded research
projects. I had delivered Invited talks as a session chair at and international conference on
“Civil and Architectural Engineering, held during April 14-15, 2016, organized by IAST&M,
at Sydney, Australia. I had delivered Invited talks as a session chair at the international
conference on “Environmental Systems Research” (ICESR 2014) During December 13-14,
2014 organized by CBEES at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. |
Book Description
Environmental Studies is a multidisciplinary academic discipline concerned with the investigation, research, and extension of knowledge about the living and physical environment. It also aids in a better knowledge of environmental natural, political, technical, economic, social, and cultural elements. Environmental Studies, or EVS, can alternatively be dened as the science of physical phenomena in the environment. Environmental studies is an multidisciplinary academic eld which systematically studies human interaction with the environment in the interests of solving complex problems. Environmental studies bring together the principles of the physical sciences, commerce/economics and social sciences so as to solve contemporary environmental problems.
