NCF 2005, Position Paper on English places a heavy emphasis on Multi-Lingual Teaching in the classroom. The concept has been further developed to include the multi-media content in the teaching English and Indian languages. It brought about a refreshing air of exibility and democracy to the traditional classrooms. The learner began to feel more self-conscious and uninhibited. His own failures no longer invited the condescending, castigating zeal of authority, as its seal was dismantled since the arrival of ICT without barriers. By discovering subtle layers of connections existing between languagessyntactical, semantic and morphemic- a new platform of experiential learning comes into existence. It has an unmatched dynamism and vibrancy of its own. There are syntactic, etymological, semantic and other subtle layers of connection existing between English and Indian languages, especially the those languages that happen to be the mother tongue of the learners. Introducing Multilingualism into education is the answer for those who ask; ' how can we increase the reach of our institution, to a larger number of students?.'
