Book Description

It is really explode of enormous pleasure for me to initiate this book of Medical Mycology which is much easy understandable, fully explained with tables, figures and complete. Medical Mycology has been primarily written to meet the needs of Mycology course being taught to students at graduates and Post graduates. This book also provide an uncomplicated text book for Microbiology, zoology, medicine, pharmacy, nursing and various clinical professional programmes. The book has 05-Sections (A-E), mainly focusing on medically important fungal diseases, laboratory diagnosis and treatment which have been suitably separated into superficial mycoses, cutaneous mycoses (Dermatophytes), subcutaneous mycoses, systemic mycoses and opportunistic mycoses. It was really a weighty job to go through different standard books of mycology and journals for each and every topic. I pay my hearty thanks to Dr. Eng. FISIHA GETACHEW, Vice president for Academic Affairs, Hawassa University, Hawassa, Ethiopia for his precious support to complete my book. I extend my sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr.M.Karunanithi, Chairman and Secretary, Vivekananda Educational Institutions, Tiruchengode to giving me a support to complete my book. I am very much thankful to my colleagues and my husband who really put their effort and encouragement together and made this book possible.
