Book Description
Navigation is a study of finding routes from one play to another place. Navigation is one of the key factorsin human being life. This navigation skill requires the eyes to see, decision making and landmark. In order to know the accurate position and travel time the land marks are not sufficient, hence there is a requirement of navigation aids. IRNSS provides the position, velocity, and timing information that enable many applications we use in our daily lives. Signals from more than one radio-navigation aids make the person to determine their position information. The user's navigation receiver is accountable for the processing of the signals and to determine the exact position. In order to navigate to the destination location, the receiver performs the necessary computation. The major disadvantage of conventional system gave rise to the navigation system such as GPS (Global Positioning System), Galileo, GLONASS, BieDuo, IRNSS and so on. This book contains about the IRNSS satellite constellation, its segments, Signal characteristics, acquisition of signals and tracking of satellites, Radio frequency interference, scintillation and its effects and other navigation system. This book is written in a simple way so that the reader will find it easy to understand the IRNSS navigation system and its applications.
