Book Description
The book fundamentals of gene cloning is useful for both undergraduate and postgraduate students who are studying the biotechnology course or allied subjects. The book contains all chapters related to gene cloning in a lucid and comprehensive manner. That will meet the requirements of UG and postgraduate students of Biotechnology. The book chapters dealing with plasmid DNA isolation and purification from E.coli provide not only theory but also practical aspects. The book contains nine chapters; all chapters make the book relevant as new information, like, conceptual diagram, illustrations and tables has been incorporated in simple and lucid language. I hope this book will serve its purpose and popularize the gene cloning techniques in this aeon of COVID-19, where so many laboratories around the world are trying to do cloning of the SARS Cov-2 virus gene in order to develop the vaccine, shall meet the requirement of the reader students.
