Book Description
One of the most confusing elds in pathology includes a group of lesions named generically as Fibro-osseous lesions (FOL). These are group of lesions that are not well dened, affecting the jaws and cranio-facial bones. Replacement of normal bone with brous connective tissue consisting of collagen bers and broblasts is common in almost all the FOLs.1 These may also consist of varying amounts of mineralized substance, that may be bony or cementum-like in appearance. An admixture of these bony or cementum like calcications is present in majority of lesions
