Book Description
Water is the elixir of the body and is a primary need of all living creatures. It is essential to sustain life and a satisfactory (adequate, safe and accessible) supply must be available to all. Since it is universally used and supplied to a large population from a few centralized sources, it is a main source of epidemics. Even water that looks clear and pure may be sufficiently contaminated with pathogenic microorganisms to be a health hazard.
